Frankfort is known for being the state capital of Kentucky. The city is situated squarely between both Lexington and Louisville. In addition to gathering the state’s finest legislatures, it is also home to a number of historical sites and tourist attractions like the Kentucky Governor’s Mansion. Buffalo Trace Distillery is also located on the north side of Frankfort.
